Veedersburg – Marion D. “Dany” Glascock, 88 of 1105 E Highway 136 died at 6:0 a.m. Friday May 7 2004 in Williamsburg Healthcare Center, Crawfordsville. He had been a resident there for the past 3 years. Born Feb 17, 1916, in Cain Township, Fountain County he graduated from Hillsboro HS and had lived in the Veedersburg area most of his life. He married Velma Eileen Bilsland on March 25, 1938 in Steam Corner. She died Jan 3, 1999. Mr. Glascock was a farmer. He was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church and 50 year member and past master of the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge 385 a member of Fountain County Farm Bureau a former Booster Club member and served on the Fountain County 4-H Council. Surviving are a son, Rick Glascock of Veedersburg and a sister, Norma Jean Pennicke (husband, Bill) of California. Services are Monday in Hillsboro. - kbz
